Free museum in Cambridge. Locket to put your large bags away. Photos are fine apart from in temporary exhibitions. You get told off it caught taking photos in one off exhibits (such as Tudors/Stuarts)

An incredible collection considering it's a University museum. I enjoyed it better than the Louvre. Beautiful buildings, well marked and described pieces. Not as crowded. Free entry!

I work at the Fitz - my tip is the Fan gallery (fans) & Rothschild gallery (medieval works & illuminated manuscripts). They are small but full of great objects. They are near the courtyard entrance.

This museum is not very crowded while I was visiting it has a wide range of things from history different centuries and community's.
