Research the current exhibit. You might have seen a lot of the pieces in their collection, so decide if the main exhibit is worth seeing. Newly built, designed by Renzo Piano-Nice cafe for a sunny day

The building is special, so worth checking out, even if the museum is closed (Mon. and before 12/after 5). The art is not everyone’s cup of tea, but there are a few greats in the permanent collection.

just like the SF MOMA, the building architecture here is just as much the star as the artwork inside. plan to spend at least 2-3 hours inside and soak it all in (and the Wifi!)
