Blue-throated macaw, autor greyloch

I originally thought that this was a blue and yellow macaw, which are very common. But my friend Neal identified it as a &quot;Blue-throated macaw&quot; (<i>Ara glaucogularis</i>) and is listed as <b>critically endangered</b>. This one was part of the large flock of macaws that came in to a post in the park, hung out for about five minutes, and then flew back to their home 2+ miles away. This macaw was a straggler and only flew a few hundred yards and just hung around watching the people.
